Shop E-Thread Returns Policy
At Shop E-Thread, we strive to ensure you are satisfied with your thrift fashion purchase. However, we understand that sometimes items may not meet your expectations. Please review our comprehensive Returns Policy below to understand your options and responsibilities when returning an item.
Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:
1. Damaged or Defective Items:
- Items that are torn, ripped, or have unwashable stains/marks are eligible for a return.
- Note: A change of mind, or an item that does not fit as expected, is NOT eligible for a refund or exchange.
2. Condition of the Item:
- All items must be returned in their original packaging, unused, and unworn.
3. Timeframe:
- Items must be returned within 14 days of the delivery date.
4. Sale Items:
- Items purchased on sale are NOT eligible for refunds or exchanges, regardless of their condition.
Return Process
1. Return Fees:
- A flat fee of AUD $3.50 will be deducted from your refund or store credit to cover return processing costs.
- For international orders, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs, plus the AUD $3.50 return fee.
2. Shipping Costs:
- The original shipping charge is non-refundable for any returned item(s).
3. Refund Method:
- We offer store credit or a refund to your nominated account.
- Promotions or discounts applied to the original purchase will NOT be reimbursed.
How to Initiate a Return
- Contact our Shop E-Thread Team at returns@shopethread.com.au to initiate the return process.
- Include your order number, a description of the issue, and photos of the damaged or defective item (if applicable).
- Once your return is approved, you will receive instructions on how to return the item.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are NOT eligible for return:
- Items that do not meet the eligibility criteria outlined above.
- Items that have been worn, washed, or altered.
- Sale items.

- We recommend using a tracked shipping method for returns, as Shop E-Thread is not responsible for items lost or damaged during transit.
